    I would caution the investigators not to make generalizations about keloid risk because their results may not apply to all African Americans. The report is about patients at this location undergoing "head and neck surgery". While keloids are common in certain parts of the body, such as the ear and neck, they are very rarely found on the scalp, nose, or eyelids. I would like to see the actual data to find out what kinds of procedures were included in the study. Before publicizing this type of information, it must be subjected to scientific scrutiny, which can be properly done upon publication in a scientific journal...not a "news" article. Where is the paper published?
