    I agree this surgery is under utilized. Insurance companies wont cover the cost, they feel it is "experimental". How true it is that having this surgery will improve the quality of the patients life. I had intractable epilepsy and went to Montreal Neurological Institute for a craniotomy in 1984. I have been seizure free ever since. I am married with 3 children and work as an RN. I cant even imagine what a mess my life would have been had I not had the surgery.
