    Corticosteroids are widely administered to oxygenated COVID-19 patients without any evidence that they reduce LONG-TERM mortality.  Of the 60% of all studies for corticosteroids that showed a health benefit at around Day 28, none of them compared the survival of the corticosteroid group versus the placebo group at say, Day 90.  Corticosteroids worsen diabetes for pre-existing diabetics and trigger diabetes in non-diabetics, even if they are not positive for COVID-19:
