Pathology is the study and diagnosis of disease through examination of organs, tissues, bodily fluids, and whole bodies (autopsies). The term also encompasses the related scientific study of disease processes, called General pathology. Medical pathology is divided in two main branches, Anatomical pathology and Clinical pathology. Veterinary pathology is concerned with animal disease whereas Phytopathology is the study of plant diseases.

The world's first nasal vaccine for COVID-19 was approved Tuesday, Sept. 6, in India for emergency use. The vaccine, called iNCOVACC, is based on technology licensed from Washington University in St. Louis and developed in collaboration with Bharat Biotech International Limited in India.

Incidence of early onset cancers has increased globally, study reveals

Over recent decades, more and more adults under the age of 50 are developing cancer. A study conducted by researchers from Brigham and Women's Hospital reveals that the incidence of early onset cancers (those diagnosed before age 50), including cancers of the breast, colon, esophagus, kidney, liver, and pancreas among others, has dramatically increased around the world, with this drastic rise beginning around 1990.
