Ultrasound is a procedure in which high-energy sound waves are bounced off internal tissues or organs and make echoes. The echo patterns are shown on the screen of an ultrasound machine, forming a picture of body tissues called a sonogram. Also called ultrasonography.

Growth in demand for Noveko International's antimicrobial products

Noveko International Inc. XRCMI's rapid results imaging tests program

XRC Medical Imaging (XRCMI) has announced a new rapid results program offering feedback directly to patients regarding their imaging tests within 24 hours of their appointments. New sirolimus-eluting stent shows greater neointimal suppression than PES

A new type of sirolimus-eluting stent (SES) successfully showed significantly greater neointimal suppression than the paclitaxel-eluting stent (PES) with greater vessel wall integrity surrounding the stent, confirming the finding of superiority of the SES over the PES stent for the trial's primary endpoint of in-stent late loss.
