BrainStorm completes registered public offering of common stock

BrainStorm Cell Therapeutics Inc., an innovative developer of adult stem cell technologies and Central Nervous System (CNS) therapeutics, today announced that it completed a registered public offering of 19,818,972 shares of common stock at a price per share of $0.29 and warrants to purchase 14,864,229 shares of common stock at an exercise price of $0.29 per share, representing gross proceeds of $5,747,502.

Clinical trial to evaluate maraviroc-based PrEP regimens for HIV prevention

Scientists are launching the first clinical trial to test whether drug regimens containing maraviroc, a medication currently approved to treat HIV infection, are also safe and tolerable when taken once daily by HIV-uninfected individuals at increased risk for acquiring HIV infection. The eventual goal is to see if the drug regimens can reduce the risk of infection.
