GC Columns

A GC column is a piece of apparatus found inside gas chromatography systems through which a gas sample is passed and separated into its constituent components so they can be measured by a detector as they leave the column. Available as either packed or capillary columns, capillary columns having a higher separation efficiency but greater susceptibility to overload than packed columns.
