Enjoy pipetting

Tacta® rests lightly in the users’ hands as a result of its ergonomically developed handle and finger hook. It is easy to use and super-comfortable to hold. Reliable results

With the use of the Sartorius Optilock® feature, accidental volume changes at the time of pipetting will be history. Users can set and lock the volume either by holding down the volume lock button with just one hand and adjusting the volume with the other, then simply release to lock, or by using one hand, slide the volume lock up. This helps adjust the volume and slide the lock back down. The choice is in the hands of the users.

Users can verify the set volume without straining their eyes from the big, easy-to-read display with four digits. With Tacta®, users do not need to second guess the last digit and the volume is simple to read even when the pipette is held at an angle. This helps eliminate the need for the user to turn their head in an uncomfortable way.

Low operating forces

The force required for a full pipetting cycle, right from tip attachment to pipetting and eventually tip ejection, is remarkably low with Tacta®. This helps safeguard users from Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI).

The Optiload® feature consists of spring-loaded tip cones in both the single and multichannel models. It safeguards tip loading with the ideal sealing and least force. At the same time, Optiload® also guarantees light tip ejection to safeguard users’ hands. Furthermore, the light tip ejection is improved by Sartorius Optiject® — the soft, levered tip ejection feature — permitting the tip to detach in a smooth, regulated way with little force.

Calibration adjustment

Tacta is very simple to adjust, for several kinds of liquids, with the help of a simple adjustment key. The adjustment scale at the back of the pipette displays the user adjustment with a rapid glance. Users can rapidly switch from one liquid’s settings to another’s and back. Simple calibration adjustment guarantees precise results with a range of liquid properties like viscous, cold or warm.
