Svelte Medical Systems secures CE Mark to distribute Acrobat SOAW stenting system in the European Union

Svelte Medical Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has officially received the CE Mark to market its Acrobat Stent-on-a-Wire Bare Metal Coronary Stent System in the European Union. The Acrobat SOAW stenting system has been shown in clinical trials to facilitate direct stenting and has the potential to provide substantial procedural time and cost savings.

InSite Vision initiates Phase 1/2 clinical trial of ISV-303

InSite Vision Incorporated, a company developing novel ophthalmic therapeutics, today announced the initiation of a Phase 1/2 clinical trial of ISV-303, a topical anti-inflammatory product intended to reduce the pain and inflammation associated with ocular surgery. EMR tracking system improves follow-up of abnormal Pap tests: Study

Researchers from Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM) report that physicians who use an automated, electronic medical record (EMR) tracking system to follow-up on patients with an abnormal Pap test could increase the number of women who achieved diagnostic resolution and have women achieve resolution in less time than using traditional methods. These findings appear in the Journal of General Internal Medicine.
