MEI Pharma reports top-line results from Pracinostat Phase II study in patients with high-risk MDS

MEI Pharma, Inc., an oncology company focused on the clinical development of novel therapies for cancer, today announced top-line data from a randomized Phase II clinical study of its investigational drug candidate Pracinostat in combination with azacitidine in patients with previously untreated intermediate-2 or high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS).

Isis Pharmaceuticals announces positive results from ISIS-ANGPTL3Rx Phase 1 study

Isis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announced today positive results from a Phase 1 study with ISIS-ANGPTL3Rx. In this study, healthy volunteers treated with ISIS-ANGPTL3Rx achieved dose-dependent, statistically significant reductions in angiopoietin-like 3 (ANGPTL3) of up to 93 percent with a mean reduction of up to 84 percent from baseline (p<0.001).

Can-Fite, Cipher Pharmaceuticals sign agreement to distribute CF101 in Canada

Can-Fite BioPharma Ltd., a biotechnology company with a pipeline of proprietary small molecule drugs that are being developed to treat inflammatory diseases, cancer and sexual dysfunction, announced today it has signed a distribution agreement with Cipher Pharmaceuticals Inc. to distribute Can-Fite's lead drug candidate, CF101, for the treatment of moderate to severe psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis in the Canadian market upon receipt of regulatory approvals.
