TriLink BioTechnologies, Inc. (TriLink), a leading provider of custom nucleic acid-based compounds, announced it has signed a distribution agreement permitting tebu-bio SA (tebu) to sell its CleanAmp(TM) products. tebu-bio is a European based distributor that supplies over 750,000 reagents and lab services from manufacturers worldwide.

TriLink's CleanAmp(TM) Product Line is an innovative new approach to Hot Start PCR. TriLink has applied their expertise in modified nucleic acid chemistry to resolve common PCR problems, such as primer dimer formation and mis-priming. This advancement in Hot Start technology employs two widely ignored components of the PCR reagent mix: the primers and the dNTPs.

"We have a strong, long-standing relationship with tebu-bio. Our modified nucleoside triphosphates and custom oligonucleotides have been available through tebu-bio for almost a decade now. Both tebu-bio and TriLink feel CleanAmp(TM) complements tebu-bio's current offering well and we are excited to bring this unique Hot Start PCR solution to more researchers together," stated TriLink CEO, Richard Hogrefe.

"tebu-bio is both pleased and proud to bring TriLink's excellent products to researchers throughout Europe," commented Jean-Francois Tetu, Brand Manager at tebu-bio, "and we feel our strong partnership enables us to guarantee the high quality of service our customers enjoy."
