PARI Respiratory Equipment launches new aerosol delivery system

NewsGuard 100/100 Score

Today, PARI Respiratory Equipment launched their newest aerosol delivery system, the Vios.  Paired with PARI's gold standard reusable nebulizers, Vios delivers fast treatments, small particle size, and high respirable drug dose to the lungs.  Vios also features an extended warranty and Timestrip, an easy to use reminder for patients to replace their nebulizer every six months.

"We are excited for physicians treating respiratory diseases to begin prescribing Vios for patients. In addition to fast treatment times, patients will notice numerous enhancements to the Vios that are not included with other nebulizer systems.  One example, Timestrip, exclusive to PARI, is a time sensitive indicator that conveniently reminds patients to replace their nebulizer after six months," said Geoff A. Hunziker, president of PARI Respiratory Equipment.  "With Vios, our goal is to rely on the long track record of PARI performance in clinical studies while adding additional features that improve the patient experience."

Vios allows patients the ability to extend their warranty by one year when they register the device with PARI. Vios includes either two PARI LC PLUS or two PARI LC Sprint nebulizers, allowing physicians to make the choice best suited to the situation. Vios is available in two colors and includes new educational materials for patients, new games and website tools for kids, a new carrying case for both the compressor and nebulizer, and easy-to-read "Big Book" instructions that have been tested and approved by COPD patients.
