The American Medical Group Association announced today that it will present the AMGA Distinguished Corporate Partner Award on March 20 to Phytel, Inc. at its 2010 Annual Conference, March 18-20 at the New Orleans Marriott. The AMGA Distinguished Corporate Partner Award is presented annually to a non-medical group organization for providing excellent service and value to medical groups.

Phytel, Inc. was chosen to receive the 2010 AMGA Distinguished Corporate Partner Award because of its strong and continual support of the association, its programs, and its members. They have supported AMGA members through the association's Value-Added Services Program, and contributed to the American Medical Group Foundation as a founding corporate member. They have also supported AMGA's educational programs as an exhibitor and contributor to the Institute of Quality Leadership and the AMGA Annual Conference, a sponsor of gatherings of the Board of Directors, and as an advertiser in its flagship publication, Group Practice Journal. This award represents AMGA's appreciation of their continued support and the valuable resources they offer members.

"The American Medical Group Association applauds Phytel for its unwavering dedication to healthcare professionals and the practice of quality medicine in this country and worldwide," said Donald W. Fisher, Ph.D., CAE, AMGA's President and Chief Executive Officer. "Their support has enabled us to provide invaluable resources and educational and networking forums for healthcare professionals. We look forward to their future contributions to the work of AMGA members as they quest to improve the delivery of quality patient care."
