Intelimedix, a business intelligence company focused on relational data analysis for faster, more accurate decision-making, has released an enhanced employer group reporting offering. The rebranded offering, Tru:Insights, empowers users to customize data analysis and information delivery and better identify and manage financial and medical risk.

“With Tru:Insights, we've entered an era of informing and educating employers on the quality and effectiveness of their healthcare programs.”

Major enhancements include enhanced data mining and aggregation capabilities; an integrated enterprise data base for each group account; a single virtual desktop for all users; and a variety of views, including book of business, employer accounts and member levels. Tru:Insights also can integrate a plan's employer group strategy including branding, targeted messages, and communications protocols. End-users can enable a range of benchmarking options with Tru:Insights, which also safeguards the integrity of any confidential or proprietary data.

This new version adds interactive iPDF functionality that elevates the effectiveness of communication between carrier and employer. The improved interface redefines current report standards with the ability to digitize and archive documents electronically, link interactive publications to data sources, incorporate multimedia components with carrier and employer data analytics, and customize reports and enhance relationships through branding or co-branding.

"Emerging healthcare policies and escalating costs are driving employers to take harder looks at their healthcare expenses," said Joel Portice, Intelimedix president and CEO. "With Tru:Insights, we've entered an era of informing and educating employers on the quality and effectiveness of their healthcare programs."

Tru:Insights' interactive features virtually eliminate printed reports, addressing the converging industry trends toward green business practices and increasing reliance on mobile delivery of data. Report delivery can now shift to electronic media, such as corporate intranets, or to emerging tablet platforms, such as the Apple iPad.

The enhanced offering provides additional customization to Intelimedix's Blue Cross customer base, including the ability to leverage efforts across the Blue Cross network to achieve best-in-class capabilities at reduced development expense.

Tru:Insights is one offering in Intelimedix's recently rebranded Tru:Solutions suite, which is characterized by scalability, and a customer-facing orientation. The offerings are designed for ease of integration with insurance carriers' strategies, branding, marketing messages and local market metrics. Other offerings in the Tru:Solutions suite include: Tru:Beacon (Cost Containment), Tru:Analytics (Outsourced Analytics), Tru:View (Data Aggregation) and Tru:Rx (Pharmacy Cost Management) applications.

Intelimedix's Tru:Solutions suite is powered by the company's robust Relational Online Analytical Processing (ROLAP) technology, advanced algorithms and its Health Information Gateway (HIG). The HIG integrates employer, clinical, administrative, and financial information to generate detailed insight into data trends and practices and provide unlimited drill-everywhere functionality.
