MTBC acquires MABCO

MTBC announced today that it has successfully completed its acquisition of Medical Accounting and Billing, Inc. (MABCO), a medical billing company based in Helena, Montana.

“Integrating with MTBC has provided our clients with an unrivaled technology and service package. MTBC's commitment to a local presence in Helena, in coordination with its resources, provides an excellent package to our existing clients while opening the door for continued growth in our region.”

For more than 35 years, MABCO had provided medical billing services to physicians throughout the state of Montana. After the successful completion of the acquisition, MABCO clients now receive unparalleled access to the medical billing, practice management, and electronic medical record solutions provided by MTBC.

Tom England, the CEO of MABCO, said, "Integrating with MTBC has provided our clients with an unrivaled technology and service package. MTBC's commitment to a local presence in Helena, in coordination with its resources, provides an excellent package to our existing clients while opening the door for continued growth in our region."

David Rosenblum, president of MTBC, said, "This acquisition enables us to expand our existing client base in Montana and the northwest. Additionally, our local presence in Montana, coupled with our proprietary technology, provides MABCO clients and Montana physicians with tools and services at a price that is unmatched in the marketplace. Medical billing services like MABCO have found it difficult to integrate technology and new offerings while maintaining competitive pricing structures. Our successful integration of technology and human resources around the globe provide an exceptional value to our healthcare clients."

MTBC has developed a unique practice management system by leveraging state-of-the-art technology and efficient business practices. MTBC's system includes a fully integrated electronic medical records (EMR) program as well as on-line access to patient and billing information, patient scheduling, and automatic and on-demand insurance eligibility verification.
