AssureImmune LLC (AI), the premier family stem cell bank in the United States, today announced their merger with Banco de Cordón Umbilical (BCU), the largest cord blood bank in Latin America. This merger expands the Companies' global reach providing family stem cell banking services to North, Central and South America. There are over 70 diseases that can be treated with stem cells, including leukemia, anemia, blood cancers, and immune system dysfunctions. Currently, there are over 400 clinical trials underway in the U.S. in final Phase III.
