Biomerics enters into strategic partnership with Diamond Mold

Biomerics, a leader and innovator of medical polymer solutions, announced today that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Diamond Mold, of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Founded in 1978, and currently owned by Terrell Pool, Diamond Mold is a leader in precision machining and tool design. Biomerics and Diamond Mold have operated a shared machine shop for the past 7 years and have decided to further integrate operations via this strategic partnership. The business will operate under the name Biomerics Diamond Mold and will provide full-service machining and tool design services to the medical market from its two locations in Salt Lake City, Utah. Together, Biomerics is able to offer design, tooling, machining, injection molding, compounding, and extrusion services to its customers.

Diamond Mold brings over 30 years of machining, tooling, and mold making experience to the partnership. "I am thrilled to expand our relationship with Biomerics," stated Terrell Pool, President of Diamond Mold, "and look forward to the additional value this integration brings our medical customers."

Biomerics continues to expand its capabilities to better meet the needs of the medical device industry. It most recently acquired Fruition Design of Bountiful, Utah, launched its new and innovative website, and continues to expand its program management and product development programs, and medical device polymer solutions.
