Rockport Healthcare Group, a national preferred provider organization (PPO) focused exclusively on workers' compensation, has announced a network partner alliance agreement with Florida-based Evolutions Healthcare Systems, one of the largest independently owned PPO networks serving employers, carriers and third party administrators nationwide.

Rockport offers access to top workers' compensation providers for third party claims administrators, managed care organizations, employers and carriers looking to control rising healthcare costs related to the treatment of workplace injuries.  The latest agreement signed by Rockport adds approximately 15,000 healthcare providers to the company's national network, which currently includes more than 525,000 providers.

"Evolutions is recognized as one of the leading PPOs in the industry and offers the quality providers in the key states and regions that will meet our clients' needs," said Doug Markham, Chief Operating Officer at Rockport Healthcare.  "In addition to our direct contracting efforts, we will continue to add these relationships to strengthen our already comprehensive national network."

During the past three years, Rockport has expanded from a regional network to one covering all 50 states with offices in Texas, Florida, Tennessee and Missouri.  The company has steadily grown to meet the needs of its clients and is now one of the largest workers' comp PPO networks in the nation.

"The agreement with Rockport will help both of our organizations continue to provide outstanding workers' compensation programs to our clients," said Ed Johnes, CEO at Evolutions.  "We understand – as does Rockport – that employers today want to ensure their employees have access to the best, most cost-effective and convenient providers to treat their workers' comp injuries.  The alliance between Rockport and Evolutions gives employers and employees the quality workers' comp networks they need."
