IPC announces acquisition of Ann Arbor Inhospital Physicians

IPC The Hospitalist Company, Inc. (Nasdaq: IPCM), a leading national hospitalist physician group practice company, announced today that it has acquired Ann Arbor Inhospital Physicians, PLLC.  Based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the acquisition represents an expansion in the Michigan market where IPC has an established presence. The practice has an annualized volume of approximately 11,000 patient encounters. The owner, Hamidullah Halimi, MD, will remain with the practice.
