GRS announces Martin as European General Manager, Executive Vice President of Global Development

Global Research Services, LLC (GRS), an international cardiovascular clinical research organization (CRO) serving pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies with comprehensive clinical trial management services, announced today that Benoît Martin, a seasoned executive with more than a decade of leading international CRO business units, has been named as the European General Manager and Executive Vice President of Global Development.

Mr. Martin will be based out of the GRS Langenfeld, Germany office and will provide leadership for the administrative activities of Global Research Services GmbH, the German subsidiary of GRS. In addition, his responsibilities will include strategic development for European and Asian operations, resource planning and efforts to continue expansion of high-quality clinical research services outside of North America for GRS.

Most recently, Mr. Martin worked for twelve years at Omnicare Clinical Research in senior level executive positions of which he served nine years as the President International with full responsibility of all business units in Western and Eastern Europe, Asia Pacific and Africa. During his tenure, he nearly doubled revenue and tripled income from these divisions as well as successfully established new business units and legal entities in India, Taiwan, China, Ukraine, Malaysia and the Philippines.
