Flatulence. Everyone has it.  Common factors contributing to flatus production are swallowed air and digestion of certain foods in the intestine.  Perhaps one of the most embarrassing aspects of flatulence is the smelly odor, but there is a remedy and it is called Devrom.  Available without a prescription and FDA approved, Devrom is an internal deodorant that safely and effectively neutralizes flatulence and stool odor. The internal deodorant celebrates its 50th year anniversary in 2011.  In a 2006 survey of over 400 users, 96% rated Devrom as "effective" to "very effective" at eliminating odor from flatulence and stool.

A trusted product for decades, Devrom is commonly used by people who have colostomies and ileostomies, fecal incontinence, irritable bowel syndrome, and malabsorption from certain types of bariatric surgery.  "Odor is an issue that affects all of these people and it's important that they and the general public know about Devrom.  Odor from flatulence can easily strip a person of their dignity and Devrom can be a simple yet effective remedy," states Nick Mihalopoulos, R.Ph, Ph.D. and CEO of the Parthenon Company.  Now Devrom is becoming a popular remedy for anyone with flatulence/stool odor issues.

Developed by a team of three pharmacists, Devrom is available as a chewable tablet (banana flavored) or capsule.  The active ingredient is 200mg bismuth subgallate and it works by acting on bacteria in the gut.  There are no side effects other than darkening of the stool.  Users are vocal about their experiences using Devrom. One person states, "I tried everything to help with the sulfur, rotten egg smelling gas that I had until someone mentioned Devrom and it has since changed my life. I feel like a normal person again, thank you!"
