Newly joined nursing students receive $2,500 grant from Capella University

As part of its ongoing effort to make higher education more affordable, Capella University, a regionally accredited online university* that has built its reputation by providing high quality online degree programs for working adults, is offering a $2,500 grant opportunity for new nursing students who enroll in eligible Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN), or Doctorate of Nursing (DNP) programs. Because of Capella's partnership with national nursing associations, members of the American Nurses Association (ANA) or the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) will receive an additional $500, for a total of a $3,000 grant.

Davidson, DNP, RNC-OB, interim director of nursing at Capella University.

Capella's health care faculty includes leaders of regional, national, and international health care organizations, in addition to the World Health Organization, the U.S. Department of Health, and other major hospital and health care systems.
