THASG selects CPS as preferred provider for pharmacy services

NewsGuard 100/100 Score

Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) has been chosen as a preferred provider for pharmacy services by THA Solutions Group (THASG) http://www.tha.com/.

THASG identifies areas of critical interest or concern to members of the Tennessee Hospital Association (THA) and identifies vendors and companies that have specific expertise in addressing them. Each partnered company is given careful consideration, before and after selection, to ensure only "best in class" services are offered.

"As Hospitals continue to face greater financial challenges, expanding pharmacy operations represent a significant opportunity," said Chris Giese, THASG Vice President. "With CPS' assistance, THA member hospitals can fill the vast majority of their patients' prescriptions, which improves medication compliance, decreases readmissions, and adds dollars to hospital operating margins."

Tennessee-based CPS, the nation's largest pharmacy provider, offers inpatient pharmacy management, outpatient/retail pharmacy start-up services and management, remote patient consulting, 340B Smart technology solutions and remote order entry (RxRemoteSolutions). CPS assists hospitals in identifying improvement strategies and leading the implementation process to ensure success and can provide an average pharmacy cost reduction of 5-8 percent.
