BHG honored with Hire Power Award

Bankers Healthcare Group (BHG) was recently honored with the Inc. Hire Power Award recognizing the private businesses that have generated the most jobs over the last 18 months. BHG increased the size of its staff by 50% between January 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013, placing it at no. 17 among private business job creators in the financial services industry.

"We have been fortunate to maintain consistent growth through challenging economic times," said Albert Crawford, Chairman and CEO of BHG. "That growth is a testament to the hard work of our employees as well as the organization's ability to constantly evaluate what we're doing and adapt to changing market conditions."

This year's 437 Hire Power honorees created nearly 70,000 jobs between January 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013.

"For the second year in a row, we are pleased to recognize the employers who are putting Americans back to work," said Eric Schurenberg, Editor-in-Chief of Inc. "The Hire Power Awards are the only awards that single out job creators. We think it's fitting to pay tribute to company founders not just for their business prowess but also for their immense contribution to the welfare of U.S. workers and the vitality of the U.S. economy."

To be eligible, companies must be U.S.-based and privately held, having been founded in 2011 or earlier. The Hire Power Awards are open to both for-profit and not-for-profit businesses.

In addition to the Hire Power Award, BHG has been recognized by Inc. as one of America's fastest growing privately held companies seven times, including a no. 5 national ranking in 2005. BHG is headquartered in Southwest Ranches, Florida with offices in New York City, Syracuse and Denver. BHG has 169 employees between the four locations.
