For the fourth consecutive year, 'Rockers4Knockers' will be rocking Shem Creek in Mt. Pleasant on October 5.
Chris Lane, an amazing country singer, will be the headliner of the 20 bands scheduled to perform at this year's event, dubbed as "The Breast event in Charleston."
Music will be located at 5 of Shem Creeks best know establishments - Red's, Vickery's, Shem Creek Bar & Grille, The Shelter, and RB's.
Registration will begin at 11 AM, with music starting at 12:30 PM and going until 7:00 PM.
The Palmetto Breeze catamaran will be docked in Shem Creek, with its 1,700 sq. ft. deck serving as the stage for the musical acts, which include, among others:
- Chris Lane, headlining at Red's, on the Palmetto Breeze
- Fowler's Mustache, headlining at Vickery's Stage
Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 on the day of the event. They are available now at each of the participating restaurants and bars, and can also be purchased online at www.Rockers4Knockers.com.
Each ticket holder will be entitled to a free event shirt, drink specials at each location, entry into a concert crawl, and a concert crawl guide which includes a chance to win a pair of tickets to The Zac Brown Band Southern Ground Music Festival scheduled for Oct. 11-12 at Blackbaud Stadium on Daniel Island.
In addition, tables will be set up at Red's for ticket holders to bid on a number of great silent auction items and enter into a large drawing.
Rockers4Knockers, Inc. is a Charleston-based 501c3 non-profit and will be donating between 60-80 percent of the money raised to the Susan G Komen Lowcountry affiliate and Hollings Cancer Center. Rockers4Knockers has donated over $25,000 in the past 3 years.
We wouldn't be able to put on the event without the help of our excellent volunteers and bands; they really make the event roll smoothly.
