    Dietary *guidelines* are designed to target the majority of the population, not *all* the population. It's impossible to create guidelines that fit every individual. Also, if you want to lower carb intake then you either need to raise fat or protein intake. Would you prefer to keep the massive carb targets previously used when it's already been shown that these targets were bad for the general population? Give me a break.
