1. Blind in one eye--I am an unbalanced mess

    I lost sight in my right eye due to four failed detached retina surgeries and now my balance is shot. I cannot walk on gravel or uneven ground--even aiming for stepping stones in tricky. I went to the ER twice for listing to the right--CT scan, you're OK, go home. I went to an ear doc and said I think it's related to my blind eye--he did a hearing test and tried to sell me hearing aids, but said he did not think I had a vestibular disorder. So now I just gimp around on my arthritic knees and goofy balance.
