Interesting that some researchers claim that Alzheimer's should be called Type 3 diabetes.  I think many well-intentioned researchers are chasing ghosts in the woods.... the real culprit is high insulin due to high carbohydrates/frequent eating patterns.
But the low-fat mantra  gong is ringing loud & proud in health care circles.
A LCHF diet solves many health issues & I wish the right people would get funded to do more in depth studies on this.  Personally, after only a few short weeks on LCHF, my psoriasis is 90% gone, with just a few small spots here & there.  That's a reduction in systemic inflammation.  30 years plagued with this, and NOT ONE doctor ever suggested I got go for a keto style diet.
The amount of personal success stories by people who have done the same as me are staggering.  The world is catching on, but Big Food wants you to eat more carbs, so you will be more hungry, and buy more of their food to feel satisfied. So glad I've found the truth.
