Peptide nanostructures block amyloid buildup and boost neuron survival in lab tests

Researchers developed trehalose-functionalized peptide amphiphiles (TPAs) that self-assemble into supramolecular nanostructures and demonstrated these TPAs can inhibit amyloid beta aggregation.
