Using the mini hand homogenizer for small biochemical projects

In contrast to pneumatic or hydraulic liquid processors, the HandGenizer is an eco-friendly, cost-effective, and high-pressure mini homogenizer that operates by moving the pump handle up and down.

It does not require a PLC control system or electricity and is ideal for basic experimental tasks, especially when working with small volumes of liquid samples.

The HandGenizer’s mini pump is specifically engineered to deliver the desired pressure to the product stream. When the pump handle is raised, a small amount of the sample is drawn into the mini-pump body.

By pushing the pump handle all the way down to generate a high-pressure profile (maximum 30,000 psi) in the sample stream, this portion of the sample then passes through the check valve and into the Genizer Y-Type diamond interaction chamber. Ultimately, it exits through the outlet for collection.

The flow stream is divided into two channels within the Genizer Y-Type diamond interaction chamber and then redirected along the same plane at right angles before being merged into a single flow stream.

The high pressure (maximum 30,000 psi) produces high velocity at the intersection of the two flows, resulting in turbulence, intense shear, and cavitation within the single outgoing flow stream inside the Genizer Y-Type diamond interaction chamber.
