Nycomed submits teduglutide MAA to EMA for SBS treatment

NPS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. a specialty pharmaceutical company developing innovative therapeutics for rare gastrointestinal and endocrine disorders, today reported that Nycomed, a global pharmaceutical company, headquartered in Switzerland, has submitted a Marketing Authorization Application to the European Medicines Agency for clearance to market teduglutide as a once-daily subcutaneous treatment for short bowel syndrome.

The “perfect storm” for Fibromyalgia, CFS/ME, and fatigue in general is preparing to hit. Walnuts best for heart when compared to other nuts

The latest research has shown that walnuts are the best nuts to prevent heart disease. Decline of obesity in pre-school kids: Study

According to a new study from the Deakin University, obesity in Victorian pre-school children has dropped. Results have shown that rates of obese and overweight toddlers fell by more than 3 per cent for three-and-a-half year olds, down from 18.5 per cent to 15.4 per cent. For two-year-olds rates have dropped 1 per cent to 12.4 per cent.
