Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies is opening the doors to an expansion of its neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The expansion, which adds 30 beds to the hospital's existing 112-bed NICU, will make it the largest NICU in the world under one roof.

Investor group to buy claims manager for $4.4B

A group led by Starr Investment Holdings said Monday that it is buying MultiPlan Inc., which helps manage claims for large health insurers. The price was $4.4 billion, according to a person close to the deal, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the companies did not disclose terms (2/17).

CoStim, founded in 2012 by MPM Managing Director Luke Evnin together with MPM Managing Director-Operations Robert Millman, is an emerging immuno-oncology company developing monoclonal antibody drugs that enable a patient's own immune system to better fight cancer.
