SuperGen to present at two upcoming investment conferences

SuperGen, Inc. (Nasdaq:SUPG), a pharmaceutical company dedicated to the discovery and development of novel cancer therapies, today announced that James S.J. Manuso, Ph.D., President and Chief Executive Officer, will present at two upcoming investment conferences.

Dr. James Manuso, and Mohammad Azab, M.D., Chief Medical Officer, will present at the Rodman & Renshaw Annual Global Investment Conference in New York on Thursday September 10, 2009 at 11:40 am ET.

Dr. Manuso will also present at the NewsMakers in the Biotech Industry investment conference in New York on Wednesday September 16, 2009 at 1:30 pm ET.

Live webcasts of both presentations will be available on the investor relations section of the Company's website at www.supergen.com. The webcasts will be archived for 90 days.
