Rocawear joins Susan G. Komen for the Cure movement in reclaiming women from breast cancer

ROCAWEAR LENDS SUPPORT IN RECLAIMING WOMEN FROM BREAST CANCER. From October 1 through December 31, 2009 Rocawear will donate 5% of the retail price of its special edition Roc for the Cause Polo to Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Circle of Promise with a minimum guaranteed donation of $20,000.

Breast Cancer continues to impact people from all backgrounds; there are significant differences within the mortality rates among racial groups. From 2000-2003, African American women had a 36 percent higher death rate than Caucasian women, giving them the poorest survival rate of any other racial or ethnic group for Breast Cancer.

The Roc for the Cure Polo is cotton and spandex with a five snap closure and ruching at bust. The polo will be available in black and white, each with a pink detail, and can be purchased for $44 at Macy's and Rocawear.com.
