AHA approves RAConciliation as RACTrac compatible product

NewsGuard 100/100 Score

RAConciliation, the RAC Tracking and Denials Management system, exclusively available through RACauditor.com in partnership with H.I.M. ON CALL, has been approved by the American Hospital Association (AHA) as a RACTrac compatible product. The AHA's RACTrac is a web-based data collection system that will allow AHA to collect and report the impact of RAC activity on hospitals across the country.

RAConciliation is a web-based solution for use by hospitals, physicians and outpatient facilities to log, track, reconcile and report on all aspects of any RAC audit request. The solution captures all activities and manages the entire audit process from the initial request for information or denial notification, through appeals to final outcome. In addition to RAC audit requests, RAConciliation can be used for all audit and denial types from any third party.

"Approval by the AHA to be RACTrac compatible adds to the list of features and requirements which led us at RACauditor.com to designate RAConciliation as 'Best in Class' for RAC Tracking audit and denials management. After a long and arduous search for the best RAC Tracking solution to be represented by our brand, RACauditor.com, we selected H.I.M. ON CALL's RAConciliation for its ability to manage all types of audits and denials and its extensive list of features," said Panacea's Chief Executive Officer, Fred Stodolak. "The integral and flexible workflow which accommodates task assignments and alert notification for each case being audited with automatic assignment of due dates depending upon a health care provider's stage of appeal and denial type along with a very easy to learn and navigate user interface caused RAConciliation to rise above numerous other solutions we evaluated and researched."

"We are pleased that RAConciliation has passed the approval process for AHA's RACTrac compatibility," said Manny Peña, President, of H.I.M. ON CALL. "When CMS announced the RAC program we were challenged by our many clients to provide them with a solution that was thorough, flexible and easy for them to learn and use. We made the decision to design and build a solution that could serve our clients far beyond their RAC audit needs and foresaw the need to log, track, reconcile and report audit and denial requests from not only the RAC but also MIC, FI (or MAC), QIO, OIG, Commercial Carriers and any others. To this end we are very proud of our results with our RAConciliation product."
