McKesson named "World's Most Admired" company and as one of 100 Best Corporate Citizens

McKesson Corporation (NYSE:MCK), the nation’s largest healthcare services and information technology company, today was rated the "World's Most Admired" company in its industry in an annual survey conducted by FORTUNE magazine and the Hay Group. The company was also named one of the 100 Best Corporate Citizens by Corporate Responsibility Magazine. Both awards highlight McKesson’s excellence in corporate social responsibility, employee engagement, service quality, and financial performance.

FORTUNE magazine’s “World’s Most Admired” award measures corporate reputation and performance against nine key attributes: innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment, quality of products and services, and global competitiveness. McKesson ranked number one in all nine categories.

McKesson was also named one of the 100 Best Corporate Citizens by Corporate Responsibility Magazine. Known as one of the world's top corporate responsibility rankings based on publicly-available information, the 100 Best Corporate Citizens List is based on over 360 data points in seven categories: environment, climate change, human rights, philanthropy, employee relations, financial performance, and governance. The 100 Best Corporate Citizens are selected from among the large-cap Russell 1000 companies, with data provided by leading ESG investor data firm IW Financial. McKesson ranked 44th.
