The depth and strength of the Getz network throughout Asia will greatly assist Reverse Medical in developing a leadership role in revascularizing patients experiencing Acute Ischemic Stroke. I am honored by Getz recognition of the unique differentiating value from the Reverse Medical technology, and the promise for market leadership worldwide. We are actively developing similar partnerships for European distribution as well."

Getz believes the worldwide market for medical devices to revascularize patients experiencing Acute Ischemic Stroke remains vastly under-penetrated, with significant opportunity for advanced technology adoption and growth." The Company plans to generate sales from several Pacific Rim regions by end 2010.

Stroke is an often debilitating event that affects blood flow leading to and within the brain, and occurs suddenly in millions of people per year worldwide. Stroke is the number three cause of death in the US, behind diseases of the heart and cancer. An ischemic stroke occurs when a blood vessel that carries oxygen and nutrients to the brain is blocked by a clot.
