Reverse Medical signs strategic partnership agreement with Getz Bros.

Reverse Medical Corporation today announced it has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Getz Bros. & Company, Inc., for distribution of Reverse Medical devices throughout the Pacific Rim. Getz is an international marketing and medical distribution services company with over 50 offices in 24 countries around the world, and has an excellent reputation for global distribution. Commenting on the Agreement, Reverse Medical President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Jeffrey Valko stated, "We are extremely pleased to have Getz Bros. as our strategic partner and investor. The depth and strength of the Getz network throughout Asia will greatly assist Reverse Medical in developing a leadership role in revascularizing patients experiencing Acute Ischemic Stroke. We are actively developing similar partnerships for European distribution as well."

Stroke is the number three cause of death in the US, behind diseases of the heart and cancer. An ischemic stroke occurs when a blood vessel that carries oxygen and nutrients to the brain is blocked by a clot.
