Veracity™ is a highly configurable, collaborative platform for all clinical trial stakeholders. Veracity's™ Web services architecture makes it open and ready to integrate with a customer's clinical IT systems. Veracity™ enables all clinical trial stakeholders to collect, monitor, adjudicate, analyze and manage clinical study data (CRF, medical images, lab data, etc) online in real time, and store them into a CDISC-ready database. Veracity™ is supported by an ISO-certified quality environment. It enables regulatory compliance including 21 CFR Part 11. Veracity™ is part of KIKA's exclusive three-part approach to clinical trial management, along with Clinical Asset Management™ and ISO-certified Professional Services.

KIKA CEO Linda Beneze said, "KIKA continues to offer sponsors and partners the most innovative, reliable, flexible EDC technology. Veracity 3.9 brings EDC technology to a new level in enabling sponsors to gather, protect, control and maximize their most important clinical trial asset - their data."

Key Veracity™ 3.9 features include:

Enhanced Signature and Manual Queries Workflow Interaction - To accommodate all scenarios, the system can configure several workflows to manage signature/ page status process and query processes jointly or independently. This creates more flexibility in the configuration while retaining strong basic rules that link to the data entry process.

Form Completeness Management - The Form Status improves visibility of the data entry completion process. The Veracity™ Web client can search and display forms that are complete or incomplete within reports. Veracity™ also allows specific workflow to link the signature/ page status process to the completion status. The set of elements that determines if a form is complete or incomplete is totally configurable.

New Filtering Options for Export - Users can apply new filters at the time of the data export. These new filters are defined on signature status or form completeness status. For example, the user can ask for an export on a specific population of patients, with a particular data filter, with another level of filtering in which only monitored data will be part of the exported file.

Notification Improvements - Veracity™ 3.9 extends the options available for email notifications. The system can include a specific link in the body of an email that brings them directly to a specific element or to a specific report with a pre-selected view and a pre-selected filter. Users also can also get additional useful information within the email body.

Improved User Experience - Veracity™ 3.9 offers additional options for date formatting and also facilitates the site search and select process in the context of a large number of centers.

Additional Operating System Support - The Web client supports the Windows 7, MAC OS 10.5 and MAC OS 10.6 operating systems.

As always this new version of Veracity™ also brings a set of improvements in authoring tools to hasten the study setup process.
