BioSpace launches 2010 BioCapital Hotbed Campaign

BioSpace.com is putting the nation's Middle-Atlantic region on the map.

The leading career Web site for the life sciences launched the 2010 BioCapital™ Hotbed Campaign this morning, marking the campaign's 10th edition and highlighting multiple companies within Washington D.C., Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. Each company participant's brand is added to an electronic and printed campaign map that is promoted online as well as at industry events and career fairs.

"Our nine annual campaigns each represent a one-of-a-kind opportunity for industry businesses to showcase their brand, location and geographic significance," said Kevin Glacken, senior vice present of sales at onTargetjobs, the parent company of BioSpace. "We're proud to highlight the Mid-Atlantic's thriving life science industry through BioCapital's 10th Hotbed campaign."

The campaign's participating companies include OriGene Technologies, Inc., SAIC-Frederick, Inc., and Human Genome Sciences, Inc., as well as universities and additional bio employers.
