PPC Canada is pleased to announce an alliance with LifeSpeak Inc., designed to help customer employees across Canada work, learn and thrive. The addition of LifeSpeak's online, expert-led video clips to PPC Canada's current suite of offerings will provide employees with a just-in-time learning tool integrated into their Employee Assistance Program.

"PPC Canada is committed to finding new ways to motivate employees into making positive changes in their personal and professional lives, so that they can be healthier and more productive," says Mike Miller, Vice-President, Program Development, PPC Canada. "In today's workplace, that means providing information to employees who are mobile, dispersed and increasingly tech-savvy. LifeSpeak On Demand provides direct access to a trusted source of information on issues related to health, wellness, family, personal and professional development; employees can go online at work or at home and learn a new strategy in less than 15 minutes of screen time."

The LifeSpeak On Demand library features over 200 high-definition video clips which have been filmed in both English and French. Each segment is led by a subject matter expert and runs for 6 - 10 minutes. The clips are accompanied by a printable tip sheet that is designed by each expert, who include: Vice Chair of the Mental Health Commission of Canada, Dr. David Goldbloom; Hospital for Sick Children Chief of Paediatric Medicine, Dr. Jeremy Friedman; parenting expert and television host, Alyson Schafer; and personal finance expert, author and television personality Patricia Lovett-Reid. Topics include: depression, children's medical concerns, parenting challenges, and saving for retirement.

"We are pleased to have the opportunity to work with PPC Canada," said Anna Mittag, Director of Partner Relations, LifeSpeak Inc. "We believe our use of technology to deliver streaming video will bring valuable information to employees across Canada, and the ability to track and report viewing trends will be appreciated by employers. We look forward to collaborating with PPC Canada to bring an innovative learning tool to their customers."
