Equation, a healthcare consulting firm, is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Physicians' Alliance of America, Inc. (PAA), a non-profit group purchasing organization, to offer consulting and educational programs to PAA members. PAA seeks to help medical practices save money on the goods and services they regularly use. Now members can benefit from Equation's analytical tools, scientific methodologies and proven operational expertise to optimize the financial and operational health of their practice.

“By partnering with PAA, Equation will be able to provide analytical and operational support to the practices and improve their economic position.”

"Decreasing reimbursement rates, compliance risk, and changing markets are creating enormous pressure on physicians to focus more attention on their business operations," said Cheryl Waltko, Vice President of Equation. "By partnering with PAA, Equation will be able to provide analytical and operational support to the practices and improve their economic position."

PAA negotiates preferred contracts of behalf of their members with PAA's vendor partners to help lower the rising costs of running a practice. Their 20,000+ physician members nationwide can now receive preferred pricing and terms on Equation's practice management consulting.

"We're pleased to be able to offer our members high quality consulting services," said Bob Chalmers, Executive Director of PAA. "We're confident in the quality and value Equation offers and know our members will benefit from this agreement."

Equation has helped hundreds of healthcare providers across the U.S. improve operational efficiency, identify gaps and capitalize on economic opportunities.
