Award-winning Lutherville agency, Barb Clapp Advertising & Marketing (BCAM), is pleased to announce the addition of a new client for the growing firm. BCAM will provide the LifeSpan Network, based in Columbia, MD, with public relations services.

LifeSpan Network is the largest senior care provider association in the Mid-Atlantic, representing over 300 senior care organizations in Maryland and the District of Columbia. The organization's members include non-profit and proprietary, independent living, assisted living, continuing care retirement communities, nursing facilities, subsidized senior housing, as well as community and hospital-based programs. LifeSpan Network works to provide legislative support, educational opportunities, scholarships, and beneficial services for these members.

Barb Clapp Advertising & Marketing will also provide public relations services for The Beacon Institute, LifeSpan Network's educational affiliate, and LifeSpan Products and Services. The Beacon Institute works to improve the quality of life and care for seniors by offering many educational options such as seminars, webinars, teleconferences, and e-learning for senior service providers. It also offers intensive education through its Wellspring Program, which is designed for LifeSpan Network's facilities that are looking to implement a comprehensive change process.

Another important goal at LifeSpan is to offer members affordable, customized products and services that allow them to run more efficient operations. The products and services subsidiary allows members to leverage buying power as a part of the larger LifeSpan group and provides access to cost-effective, quality programs. Recently, LifeSpan expanded to include innovative programs designed to meet the needs of a rapidly changing industry including Worker's Compensation Self-Insurance Trust, Regulation Retention Services and Medicaid Cost Reporting.

"We are excited to have the opportunity to work with such a dynamic organization," said Barb Clapp, president of BCAM. "With my agency's strong media relationships in both the Baltimore and D.C. markets, along with our proven track record in the human-service provider industry, this relationship can only flourish. Our goal is to ensure the entire region knows about the amazing work LifeSpan Network is doing to improve the quality of life for seniors in the Mid-Atlantic."
