Toshiba receives top ratings on IMV ServiceTrak's 2010 MRI system service report

As healthcare organizations continue to look for the best value in imaging and customer service, Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc.'s Service organization continues to deliver on the company's dedication to top-tier service and customer satisfaction. In the 2010 IMV ServiceTrak™ ratings report on MRI system service, Toshiba received more number one ratings than any other manufacturer in the categories of Service Performance, Phone Support Performance and Remote Service.

"In the imaging industry, new technology is continually being developed to meet patients' needs," said Ted Nemetz, vice president, Service Business Unit, Toshiba. "In this environment, customers need to have confidence in both the products and quality of service they are going to receive from the manufacturer, and IMV's ratings confirm that Toshiba is delivering on its promises of timely and excellent service support."

Imaging professionals rated their MR systems on 39 attributes assessing satisfaction with manufacturer, system and OEM service performance categories on a scale of 1.0 to 6.0. Toshiba was the top-rated manufacturer in 12 categories and out-scored the industry in 20 of the 39 attributes. Among the categories where Toshiba received top rankings include OEM preventative maintenance program, overall phone support, and diagnosing and solving problems via direct connection. Additionally, Toshiba's ratings for technical competence of phone support personnel and overall service engineer performance were both above industry averages.
