M*Modal partners with RadNet to provide advanced documentation capabilities

M*Modal and RadNet, Inc. (Nasdaq:RDNT) announced today a partnership to integrate M*Modal's Speech Understanding™ technology into RadNet's radiology Information technology solutions. This integration will provide advanced speech and documentation capabilities to RadNet's proprietary diagnostic software solutions used at the company's 192 owned and operated outpatient imaging centers across the United States.

Performing over 3.5 million procedures annually, RadNet offers its patients and referring physicians a full spectrum of diagnostic imaging exams, including PET/CT, MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Ultrasound and X-ray, as well as numerous other procedures.

M*Modal's Speech Understanding™ technology gives radiologists high-productivity speech recognition that streamlines the diagnostic report production process and produces higher quality documentation for referring physicians. M*Modal's technology will be integrated with RadNet's workflow solutions, providing significant enhancements to diagnostic reporting capabilities.
