Paralyzed Veterans of America condemns Bachmann's plan to cut veterans' health care, benefits

U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann's plan to radically cut veterans' health care and benefits by $4.5 billion is being condemned by Paralyzed Veterans of America.

Paralyzed Veterans of America National President, Bill Lawson stated:

"Congresswoman Bachmann's plan is short-sighted, dangerous and an insult to the men and women who have served and sacrificed for our freedoms — including the freedom of speech that we all enjoy. We hope that the leadership in Congress will disassociate themselves from these radical views that are not supported by the majority of the American public. We urge all members of Congress to fully support efforts to provide sufficient funding for our troops and veterans."
