MedeAnalytics, a leading provider of healthcare performance management solutions, announced today the launch of its Value-Based Purchasing Resource Center. As a service to the healthcare industry, the resource center provides objective educational information on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' value-based purchasing program.

"With so much attention placed on accountable care organizations during the past half year, value-based purchasing has flown somewhat under the radar, even though it is a mandatory, national program with significant clinical and financial implications for over 3,000 U.S. hospitals," said Ken Perez, who directs MedeAnalytics' healthcare policy team and serves as the company's senior vice president of marketing. "The resource center will provide substantive yet succinct information in a variety of formats to help hospitals navigate the dynamic and challenging waters of value-based purchasing."
