Teleflex to showcase respiratory solutions, education programs at AARC Congress

  • The Gibeck® Humid-Flo® 72-Hour Integrated Kit provides clinicians everything they need to start passive humidification. The kit is designed to support and promote best practices that have been shown to help reduce the risk of ventilator-associated pneumonia. The Gibeck Humid-Flo Heat & Moisture Exchanger (HME):

  • Ruben Restrepo, MD, RRRT, FAARC, will present "Strategies for VAP Risk Reduction" during a breakfast symposium at the Tampa Marriot Waterside Hotel on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at 6:00am. During this program, Dr. Restrepo will explore a variety of solutions that are designed to help clinicians adhere to clinical practice guidelines for VAP Risk Reduction, including recommendations from the CDC, IHI, AARC and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA).
  • Credentialed Respiratory Clinical Specialists will provide in-booth education (Teleflex booth 301) focused on trends in respiratory care, including the growing importance of high flow nasal cannula therapy (HFNCT) in the Respiratory Pyramid of Care.
