Talyst, a leader in pharmacy automation, announced its new automated storage and pharmacy-grade refrigeration system, refrigerated AutoCarousel® HD. The new technology ensures medications are kept at a safe temperature in the central pharmacy, while reducing energy costs and enhancing efficiency.

The refrigerated AutoCarousel HD consolidates refrigerated medications as part of a health system's comprehensive pharmacy inventory system and is ideal for health systems that need to store items in a temperature controlled environment.

"We have been a Talyst customer for almost 10 years," said Tim Cmelik, Director of Pharmacy at Parkview Health System. "The refrigerated AutoCarousel HD will be part of our pharmacy upgrade that will ensure we improve on patient safety and inventory control."

"At Talyst, we listen to our customers' needs and work hard to develop technology that continues to improve their efficiency," said Carla Corkern, Chief Executive Officer at Talyst. "The refrigerated AutoCarousel HD will help pharmacies safely store their expensive refrigerated items."

The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Midyear Clinical Meeting & Exhibition will be held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Talyst will be exhibiting in booth #2431.
