Unibased announces availability of ForSite2020 solution suite with Microsoft Outlook 2010

Unibased Systems Architecture, Inc. (Unibased) announced the availability of the integration of its award-winning ForSite2020® solution suite with Microsoft Outlook® 2010 for healthcare scheduling and resource management. The initial deliveries will be in the August 2012 timeframe.

According to Larry Covington, Unibased President and CEO, "The key to the coordination of care is to make it simple for physicians, patients, and hospitals to be on the same page for appointment and service scheduling. Since many physicians are already using Microsoft Outlook® for their personal calendaring, it just makes sense to offer the capability to update their schedules and avoid conflicts. This takes an interactive bi-directional interface between the major provider organization and their affiliated physicians, providing more effective and efficient resource management for streamlined care delivery and enhanced physician alignment."
