Protein Metrics, Inc., a leading provider of software for rapid and thorough protein characterization, today announced the release of Byologic. Byologic software enables easy and convenient identification and quantification of sequence variants, protein modifications, and degradants down to trace concentrations.

"We are focused on software products that improve analytical quality and keep pace with recent advances seen in analytical instrumentation, allowing biopharmaceutical companies to manage the risk of variants and contaminants in their products," said Chris Becker, Ph.D., President and CEO of Protein Metrics. "Byologic enables our customers to confidently and quickly perform these critical analyses, dramatically shortening development timelines and reducing FTE costs."

Originally developed in close collaboration with leading biopharmaceutical researchers, Byologic also enables rapid evaluation of similarity by a variety of interactive computational and visual inspection tools. Special attention has been paid to the export of well-formatted figures and tables needed for regulatory filings.
